Giant Snippets™

Either a 5" square or 8" square hand-embellished giclee print on canvas for that classic look! The finished canvas print is mounted on a 2" thick maple cradle which you can use to stack with others or hang on the wall.

These pieces began with three goals in mind: (1) I wanted to continue exploring the definition of layers on many different levels; (2) I wanted to continue to revisit and discover new worlds found within my completed oil paintings; (3) It became important to me to print my Giant Snippets™ upon natural or recycled materials. My more recent discoveries include a Thai Unryu paper (100% Kozo paper), which is made from the inner bark fibers of the Mulberry Tree, and fabric made from 100% recycled soda bottles woven into a fibrous weight. These new types of "canvas" intrigued me. The unique result was literally the tying together of nature with my imagery.
