In my work, I strive to accurately portray (with color, texture, layer and form) the passion I feel for my sources of inspiration. From the materials I choose, to the stories that emerge, I give credit to the natural world around me. Together, through these elements, I wish to more deeply learn about me and you, from the intricacies to the processes of it all.

Inspired by inorganic and organic materials that show evidence of their history, I paint on pieces of reclaimed doors and found wood carefully chosen for their character and story. They become my canvas; cut to size, flipped, flopped, or turned. It is important to me to not cover the entire surface, but instead work with the grain and/or existing layers of old paint, nicks and dings, the clues to its previous life.

Welcome and thank you for coming. I am delighted to be able to share my work with you.
